Two-day Training on “Teaching-Learning Methods and Techniques”


IQAC of Uttara University organized a Two-day training on "Teaching-Learning Methods and Techniques" on 10 and 11 June 2017 in the IQAC Seminar Hall of the university.  Professor Dr. Md. Mozahar Ali, Director of Graduate Training Institute, Bangladesh Agricultural University, was the Resource Person in the training program. Professor Dr. Debi Narayan Rudra Paul, Director of IQAC, Uttrara Univeristy was the key facilitator of this program. Fifty faculty members from the twelve different departments of Uttara Univeristy participated in the training program. The participating departments include Business Administration, Computer science and engineering, Textile, Mathemetics, English, Bengali, Education, Law, physical education, Electic and Electronic Engineering, Civil and Environmental Science, Fashion Design and Technology. The objective of the training program was to enhance the quality of classroom deliberation of the teachers. Prof. Ali discussed about different topics related to teaching-learning methods and techniques such as, Bloom’s taxonomy of learning, non-verbal communication in teaching, designing lesson plan, curriculum format, and course profile. In the closing ceremony, Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Pro Vice Chancellor of Uttara University was the Chief Guest, and Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Dean of School of Buisness, was the Special Guest. At the end of the training program, Professor Dr. Eaysmin Ara Lekha, Pro Vice Chancellor of Uttara University handed over the training certificates to the participants.
