School of Business of Uttara University organized a seminar on “Ericsson Technology and Corporate Culture” on 12 July 2017, Wednesday at 3.00pm at IQAC Seminar Hall, of Uttara University. The key speaker of the seminar was Mr. Cayo V. Betancourt, Head of Customer Support Division, Ericsson Bangladesh. Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Dean, School of Business of Uttara University Chaired the program. Professor Dr. ASM Shahabuddin, Chairman, Department of Business Administration of Uttara University welcome all the guests and participants to the seminar at the beginning of the program. Mr. Cayo V. Betancourt talked about innovations of Ericsson. In Bangladesh, Ericsson is trying to introduce 5G (5th Generation) technology in telecom sector very soon. Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam said that Ericsson works behind the scene and it provides technical supports to the IT firms and mobile companies of the country. Among others, Mr. Partha Sarothi Kundu, Customer Technical Manager, Mr. Helal Uddin, Field Maintenance Engineer of Ericsson Bangladesh, faculty members of Department of Business Administration, Coordinator of MBA and EMBA Programs, Mr. Afsar Kamal and Coordinator of BBA program Md. Mohedul Islam were also present in the occasion. More than 100 students of School of Business attended the seminar.
