Seminar on “Modern HR Practices” in School of Business

A seminar on "Modern HR Practices" was organized by School of Business, Uttara University on Monday, 20 April 2015 at 6:00pm in the Room No 501 of NZ Building. The seminar was conducted by Dr Ezaz Ahmed, Head of Postgraduate Program, School of Business and Law, Central Queensland University, Australia (Melobourne Campus) and Certified HR Professional by the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI). Professor Dr. Nazrul Islam, Dean of School of Business of Uttara University Chaired the seminar. Dr. Ezaz in his speech emphasized on the technological advancement and its uses in HR practices for the improvement of the organizations’ activities. He mentioned four pillars of HR such as, job satisfaction, organizational citizenship behavior, neglect of job, and intention to leave the organization that are very much important for the Hr managers. Among others Kazi Tareq Ullah, Chairman, DBA, Dr DNR Paul, and a number of senior faculty members and graduate students of the school attended the Seminar.
